I had fun taking this outfit from day to night by swapping out my denim skirt for my leather skirt!! I’m also totally digging socks with loafers. Takes me right back to my middle school days, and I’m not sad about it! And yes, that’s what my closet looked like after trying to figure those outfits out, but it was fun! 🤷🏼‍♀️

How to get the cuffed denim look without buying a new pair of jeans! You don’t need to buy a new pair of jeans to get the cuffed denim look! Just grab a pair of straight leg jeans from your closet, cuff them to be about an inch or 2 above the top of your ankle bone and use the nifty little gadget from this tutorial. Viola! Plus, the cuffed denim length makes it a heck of a lot easier to wear most of the shoes in your closet! #winning

Watch until the second knot. I think it shows the process really well! I use the back of an earring/earring post. I’m sure there is a more professional tool to use, but my earrings are right next to my necklaces, so there you go! Basically, just jab your knot/knots with an earring post until the knot loosens. You can stab the center of the knot with the rfcpost and then pull the knot apart. I hope this helps!

Fall is technically here but it feels like summer, so here’s something I like to do when getting dressed. I like to pair something that feels very summery (also that keeps me cool) with something that feels very winter-y (but isn’t too hot). For instance, wearing a tank top or sun dress with a bootie or wearing a short skirt with a long sleeve top and/or booties. I appease my desire to transition into the fall and fall clothes, but I still feel cool and comfortable. Yay!

I have a 2 part style trick I use all the time, so I had to share!
Part 1. How to get dressed in a lot less time!
Part 2. How to get more wear out of the existing clothes in your closet!

When you find a winning combination on the bottom, for instance a pair of pants that looks great with a certain pair of shoes, repeat the combination with a different look on top! Therefore, you have a “uniform” you start off with on the bottom, which takes the guess work out of getting dressed and thereby saving time!

Plus, you can wear all different sorts of tops from your closet to give your combination a new look! Give new life to the clothes you have in your closet by pairing it with your new bottom combination!

If you’ve ever tried to wear black sandals or something black with a summer/spring outfits, then you know why a black straw bag is such an important staple for your closet!

THIS SKIRT IS ON SALE!! Have you ever seen a prettier skirt?! I freaked when I saw this skirt online… I had to have it! Then I noticed it was on sale at a deep discount, which made me wonder why? I’ve noticed Cara Cara’s sizing is all over the place, so when I looked at the size chart, it all made sense. The sizing for this skirt is completely off. Not to worry, I’m going to help you get the right size. My natural waist is 28” around (I’m usually a 25 in jeans), so I ordered the size 4 which was a 27.5” waist on the size chart. It fits great! Basically, measure your natural waist (the smallest part of your waist just below your rib cage), and choose the size that is closest to your measurement on the size chart provided. P.S. Also loving this new basic white tee I recently found! I’m wearing an xs.

I find the “easy athleisure look” impossible -ha! I love the idea of throwing on leggings, but for me, it turns into trying to come up with a whole look that matches (sports bra, tank top, socks and a cool hip new sneaker). I know, I’m overthinking it. BUT not anymore, because I found this outfit that solves all my problems! I’ve already worn it to coffee with a friend and an early breakfast with my family on vacation. I have it in white and blue. There are lots of different colors and patterns!

This cute dress is 20% off right now! How can you not have a good day when you’re wearing this dress?! Ha! I’m wearing an xxs.

You know when you want to wear shorts but you don’t want to wear cut offs because you want to wear something a little dressier than jeans shorts? Or remember the chino shorts that went with everything and you wish they’d bring them back? Well, these shorts are the answer! I’m wearing a size 26.

I’ve also worn this dress a ton this summer! I’ve worn it casually with my Teva sandals, and I’ve worn it with gold sandals to make it a little more dressy! It’s a great find and also very comfortable! I usually wear a bandeau bra with it.

I’m excited to share this dress with you all! It’s a great find! I originally purchased it to run errands in, but I’ve also worn it with sneakers to travel in. And I’ve worn it to various appointments and to church! Most importantly, it’s comfortable! It’s become one of my favorite dresses this summer!
