What tv shows are you watching for summer? I’m currently watching 2 summer dizis- @gizlisaklifox and @sendendahaguzelfox.
Gizli Saklı is probably my favourite out of the 2. It’s a true rom-com. You’ve got undercover cops pretending to be married to bring down the mafia. A crazy uncle who almost ruins the plan. It’s got it all! Wednesday was the 5th episode and it was the best one yet. It was so funny. I keep thinking of scenes and laughing to myself.

Senden Daha Güzel is also a rom-com, but a cute one. Efsun lives in Antep with her dad as a doctor. A guy shows up claiming to be her moms chauffeur, who she hasn’t seen since she was 12, to bring her to Istanbul to see her mom. Turns out Emir isn’t a chauffeur but also a doctor at her moms clinic. Her mom blackmails her to work at the clinic for 3 months while she has surgery and recovers. Emir and Efsun are not happy about the situation. And they also end up living together.

Reika wishes she could come everywhere with her mommy. When I can take her, I will. Re-styling some of my favourite pieces. The dress is from last summer from @faithfullthebrand and my denim jacket is vintage @luckybrand that I bought at a garage sale years ago!

Since micro plastics are now being found in our bloodstream, I think now is the time to really ban plastic and also polyester in clothing. Most people don’t know or care how to wash polyester. If you don’t wash in properly, micro plastics end up in our water supply! Something really needs to be done. Big corporations need to be held accountable!

Today is day 124 of learning Turkish on Duolingo!! I feel like I know so much and so little at the same time. 8 weeks in the diamond league with 5 top 3 finishes and being number 1 once! I just want to be fluent enough to watch my shows without subtitles and not have an issue holding a conversation. I take to my pets in a mixture of English/Turkish and Reika actually listens better in Turkish 😂😂
