Trying on dresses 7 weeks postpartum! guys be nice to us!! 😅 I’m only 7 weeks postpartum and trying on clothes right now is truly my least favorite activity lol. I feel like with each baby, it takes my body a little longer to find its “new normal” and while I know that’s okay… it’s still a struggle. Just keeping it real!! anyone else relate??

Okay soooo I did not expect my unmedicated birth videos to reach that many people lol 😂 and l’ve seen a lot of questions (and opinions) about how I chose to give birth. So I wanted to share a little more about why.

First, every birth is different and every mom gets to choose what’s best for her. For me personally, I’ve struggled with pretty intense postpartum depression in the past. Going into my 3rd birth, I was honestly desperate to try something different that might help my postpartum experience. I chose to go unmedicated... and my recovery and mental health were SO much better. Like, night and day better🙌

So that’s why I decided to do it again this time around. Is it easy in the moment? Absolutely not. But for me, the tradeoff has been worth it because my postpartum experience has been SO much smoother.

Just sharing my personal experience!♥️

This might be controversial, but I’ve taken all of my babies to the chiropractor just a few days after birth. it is NOT like adults getting their backs cracked. Newborn adjustments are super gentle, more like light movements and pressure points than anything else.

We’ve personally found it really beneficial for our babies! Most of the time they actually sleep through the entire appointment, so it must be pretty relaxing 🤣 we loooove Cafe of Life. they are amazing with moms & babies!

Smith has been a little extra fussy lately and was born with a tongue tie, lip tie, and cheek tie, so I’m hoping this helps his little body relax and get more comfortable. Newborns go through a lot during birth, so I’m always open to things that might help them feel better. Every baby is different, but this is something that has worked really well for our family!
