a glimpse at my summer wardrobe + like 20 dresses not shown because I liiiive in those! I know we're living in super weird time rn. But something that has always helped me feel a bit better to start my day is get dressed. When I was working from home, I knew a quick shower, some make up and clean clothes made a WORLD of a difference. I mean, don't get me wrong I'm the lounge clothing QUEEN, but when I want a little pep in my step, getting ready for the day gets me going!

How about you? Have you been in lounge clothes for weeks? or do you find yourself getting ready for the day? (there is no wrong answer, I'm just curious!)

This book is well loved. The pages are worn, the words memorized and the emotional awareness learned has taught us all. Thankful for literature that gives real life joys and struggles in the form of words and helps littles (and adults) learn lessons in feelings big and small. When we can give space for our feelings we all experience growth. At the age of 4 being able to express emotions, especially when they feel big has been a confidence builder for him. You know the scents that instantly flood your mind with a memory? This candle does that for me. It reminds me of Summers at my grandparents house. Picking fruit from their back trees running through sprinklers and making up games that now don’t make much sense. I can’t help but smile thinking about those vivid memories and the joy of childhood that it brought.
