A Simple Swap for a Less Toxic 2026

I was out of a few things, so I placed a Branch Basics restock and wanted to share.

I switched to Branch Basics years ago during a season when I was being very mindful about what we used in our home, and it’s one thing I’ve stayed loyal to ever since. It’s truly a workhorse.

The laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs are staples for us, and the concentrate does everything — all-purpose cleaning, counters, messes, and even washing fruits + veggies. Simple, effective, and something I feel really good about using around my kids.

But where will we store all of these new toys?! 😅

We’ve had this modular storage system for 6 years and just moved it into the playroom in our new house (we moved a month ago and I definitely haven’t had time to fully style the playroom post-Christmas 🫣). It honestly stores so much and works perfectly for my kids ages 19 months to 6.5 years — and everyone in between.

My kids are pretty rough on furniture, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well this has held up over the years. One of my favorite things is that you can close the doors and drawers, because let’s be honest… my kids are not great at putting things back perfectly 😅. Instant visual calm.

I did swap out the knobs to give it a more elevated look, which made such a difference. Linking the knobs I used and the baskets we love — both have been total workhorses for us!

Hear me out 😂 I am obsessed with these eye-whitening drops.

They make the whites of my eyes look noticeably brighter and clearer — almost that milky, refreshed look you get after a really good night’s sleep (which… we all know is rare 😅).

I use them when my eyes feel tired or dull, and the difference is subtle but so good. This is one of those little things that makes you feel more put together without doing anything else.

The Washable Door Mat I Swear By! My new Ruggable arrived late tonight and I couldn’t wait to set her up! We have a really wide back door, so I went with a runner as a doormat, and it looks so good.
