Twelve years of marriage and let’s be honest we wouldn’t be here today without God’s grace. Marriage is hard, it isn’t easy, but spending an the rest of my life with my best friend is worth it. Putting God first in our marriage has been our saving grace. For a long time as a wife I tried to control our marriage and it led to a lot of strife. When I finally let go and let God is when things changed. Instead of arguing, I prayed. I prayed for my husband to be a better man and better husband and God answered my prayers. People look at our marriage and see only the good and the blessings, but what people don’t see is all the hard work and prayers sent to get where we are today. Our marriage isn’t strong because it’s perfect. Our marriage is strong because despite the obstacles and struggles we know God’s plans for us, and we are strengthened in his Grace and mercy. 💛✝️ “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭ESV‬‬
