It’s the littlest things that make the difference.

For example: This “Chinch Pin” for the back of my really oversized shirt makes it a more fitted look for me and creates so much interest in the back! It’s like an instant pleat that pulls the material in at the waist.

I have to also give my friend @oldfashionguru a shout out for getting me to pull out my Capris pants. Follow her for some fabulous fashion inspiration.

I have such a love/hate relationship with Capris but check out how she styled them for a fresh take on spring.

Get out your bandanas and accessorize! Any color will do. I would wait to bring them out when a western outfit was happening. But this black bandanna is the perfect accessory for my all black leather @ragandbone outfit. So chic.

Oh I saw these coming…

If you know me and are following my account, you know I love to style the new trends when for 50+.

Balloon Pants are definitely a trend for Spring.

I always feel there is a way to style trends with sophistication so you can ease into them when you might not otherwise try. I will say it again, not all trends are for everyone but I think I like this one.

Do you? If not m, that’s ok. There’s so much to choose from out there in the fashion world.

Why does this one work? For one, the Balloon pants aren’t huge. Plus, by cinching in the waist on the blazer gives me shape and balances out the shape of all the fabric on the bottom.

I’ve got a little trick for your next outfit.

Seeing how we are layering up lately it makes sense that the layers work with each other.

This oversized denim shirt was too big and I needed it to look more tailored especially if I wanted to wear this leather blazer over it.

This simple coat clip did the trick! Made my shirt lay perfect under this blazer.

Brooches are really hitting the fashion scene. I posted about them last February 2025. I was ahead of my time! Back then I knew their popularity would be a favorite!

Fast forward to Spring 2026 and here they are. Blend your old pins with new ones in a beautiful cluster on your blazer, sweater or dress. It’s almost like a charm bracelet but with your favorite pins.

Makin’ some changes for 2026…how about you?

The past two weeks I’ve been on a 21 day purification program, per my nutritionist. I have been on this program several times so I understand how this program works for me. January has been a good time for me to do this.

This program helps my body purify and rebuild itself from the inside out by removing natural toxins and helps me to maintain a healthy weight, which is important to maintaining my health and vitality.

In addition, it’s important for me to exercise everyday while on this program, so I’m off for my daily walk with my weighted vest. And you know me, I am wearing my new wide leg pants from @lululemon which I LOVE.

High waist, wide leg and zip pockets! These are so functional yet so chic I’m wearing them to run errands after my walk!
