Hey guys!! Not something I would typically share, but branching out a little because in the last while I’ve had people on YouTube and instagram asking about how I got in shape. (With no GLP-1 use, ever) Full disclosure, I am only sharing the things that worked for me and the research I’ve done— not giving medical or wellness advice, just sharing my own personal journey over the last few years. In 2021 I felt tired pretty much every day. I had chronic neck pain and low energy. At the time i didn’t really even know inflammation was a thing, but because of how bad I felt, I decided something needed to change— so I cut out gluten and sugar completely for 2 weeks. And…. I COULD NOT believe the difference it made for me. I felt like a new person! The pain in my neck was gone, I started having more energy and to my surprise I had dropped about 10lbs. I decided then that I needed to find some way to build something sustainable that could help me continue to feel that great. I knew I’d have to drastically change things to remove gluten from my diet. And I would still get cravings for something sweet. I decided to eliminate bread and pasta first. It was actually more doable than I expected. And then when I would get the sugar cravings I swapped the usual candy habit for a good quality protein bar. Though there was still some sugar in the protein bars, the amount was significantly less and having it paired with protein made a huge difference for my body… If this resonates with people I’ll continue to share more on this subject!
