I’m often asked where I put everything in our kitchen with no upper cabinets, sooooo I’m showing you what’s inside ALL of our cabinets (including the dreaded junk drawer 🫣) and how I keep them organized! Here are my TOP 4 kitchen design/organizing tips: 1: One of the BEST decisions I made in this kitchen was putting the silverware, dishes, and glasses in the drawers directly across from the dishwasher — unloading is SO efficient this way and the kids have easy access to everything 🙌 2: Hide small appliances by placing upper cabinets directly on the countertop with outlets inside. I put the air fryer, blender, coffee maker, etc on sliders so they’re easy to use and then just close the doors so they’re out of sight! 3: When opting for all lowers, skip the cabinets with doors and do all drawers instead. It’s a much more efficient way to reach everything and looks more streamlined in my opinion ☺️ If you do have lower cabinets with doors, invest in sliding pull-out trays to make things more accessible and functional. 4: Invest in a set of cabinet/pantry organizers to minimize visual clutter and make everything tidy and functional ✨ I love using clear plastic bins, bamboo trays, and lidded glass jars to organize our cabinets, pantry and refrigerator! I’m only 5’2” so upper cabinets are basically useless to me anyway 😅 but I really love having everything organized this way and don’t miss the uppers at all! Would you try this in your kitchen? I hope this was helpful if you’re organizing or considering a kitchen with out upper cabinets! 🙂 LTKHome
