It’s time for my quarterly walk around Nordstrom Rack. 🤩

It did not disappoint! Found some really fun and interesting pieces.

1. Madewell bag. I had this in my Madewell cart on one point a while back. This came home with me. It’s a perfect pop of color.

2. Frye moccasins. I should have bought these. So cute and the suede is perfect for fall.

3. Brooks Ghost Max 2. These are one of my favorite pairs of running shoes. You can’t beat finding them on sale.

4. Adidas Spezial sneakers. I just loved the color combo on these! As you probably know, adidas runs big. I generally wear a 7.5 and will typically buy a 6.5 in Adidas.

5. Ugg Adirondack boots. I had these in my cart last year when they were full price at $350. Glad I waited because I snagged these for just over $100. In a big fan of shopping off season for this reason.

Summer isn’t over, but sales on swimsuits are starting to appear!

I was served an ad for this swimsuit for at least a month, and I finally decided to give it a try when I saw each piece was under $30. So glad I did: it’s one of the most flattering suits I have purchased in several years!

Snag some Lands End swimsuits while you can. The sales are good.

It was chilly in the evenings in the Upper Peninsula, so I’m glad I brought a few fleece jackets with me! This jacket was a recent find on The Real Real and can’t get enough of it—mostly because of all of the fun colors. ALWAYS look for clothes off season! I have found such great pieces for fall/winter in the middle of summer and vice versa.

The perfect vacation day: morning beach walk with the dogs, bike ride to small coffee shop, spend the day at the beach, nap, go to dinner, watch the sunset on the beach.

Outfit details: I love the Emerson line at Abercrombie. I have one of the puff sleeve dresses that I wore to a friend’s wedding last year. Not only is the bodice really flattering, it’s extremely comfortable. The back is smocked, so it should work for many different body types. I’m apple-shaped, meaning my top-half is larger than my bottom, and I find the tops on these dresses to be a perfect fit.

In this dress with the tie straps, I took my normal size of a petite large and had a little bit of wiggle room. I find the Emerson line to run just slightly big, but not big enough for me to size down.
