Let’s prep a bathroom for paint ✨ I don’t normally help with this, but I figured how hard can it be? 😅 First of all, I am not an expert or a painter by trade, but here are a 3 tips/products that helped me stay sane during this tedious process and (hopefully) protect this beautiful bathroom during the painting process! My tips/must-have items: 🎨 Always start with a tidy workspace. Shop vac the area completely so there is not any loose debris. If you’re using a paint sprayer, any dust, etc. will end up on the walls. Then, lay down floor protection. I prefer heavier duty floor protection because I find the craft paper consistency tears so easily. 🎨 I found this pre-taped plastic sheeting dispenser. At first, it was a huge mess because I didn’t realize that this dispenser had a blade and I was using a knife. Don’t make this mistake! Once I got on a roll, it was super easy to use. 🎨 Use a high quality painter’s tape. I like frog tape. It’s super hot and humid here and I can trust it to stick. Also, it adheres to rough surfaces better than other painter’s tapes I have tried. houseflipping renovation homerenovation realestateinvestor diy housepainting construction
