Another crockpot recipe to save the day! I always struggle with being able to cook dinner and be outside with the kids while they’re playing. Which is why I love the crockpot ❤️ While we were outside playing after school the crockpot was making our dinner and when we were done we came inside to a hot meal 👍🏼 Another easy and delicious one for ya! Save this recipe to give it a try😋 Ingredients • 1 lb of ground beef • 1 onion diced • 3 bell peppers, any color chopped • 3 garlic cloves, minced • 1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz) • 1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz) • 1 cup of vegetable broth • 1 cup of uncooked rice • 1 Tbsp of Italian seasoning • salt to taste • black pepper to taste • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese Directions 1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and diced onion until browned 2. When done add to the crockpot, then add bell peppers, minced garlic, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir everything together. 3. Pour in broth and uncooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Stir again. 4. Cover crockpot and set to cook 6-7 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high. 5. 15 minutes before serving sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top cover again and let melt. Enjoy!
