I’ve tried denim skirts before and it always gave me that weighed down, heavy look that was way too wide below the hips. I really liked this skirt because it managed to add curve, comfort where I can freely move. The fabric is not tight/ or rigid. I also was looking for a denim skirt with a slit in the middle or the side. I think it breaks up that harsh and hard feel to denim!
