I used to believe I couldn’t run a successful business because I didn’t have an MBA. Nearly everyone around me—family, friends, peers—had one, and I felt like I was missing an essential piece of the puzzle. But here I am, 12 years later, having built a strong brand and a mid-6-figure business entirely on my own. I didn’t know how to start a website—but I figured it out. I didn’t know how to grow an audience—but I figured it out. I didn’t know how to negotiate contracts or work with brands—but I figured it out. Just like any DIY project, I’ve learned that if I put in the time and effort, I will figure it out. And if someone else can do it, why can’t I? Why can’t you? Success isn’t overnight—it’s a slow burn. I’ve shown up consistently for over a decade, adapting and evolving as the world changes. I’m proud of the business I’ve built, but even more proud of the mindset that got me here: everything is figureoutable. If you’ve ever doubted yourself, let this be your reminder: you don’t need every credential or every answer right away. You just need the willingness to show up, learn, and keep going.
