CVS Health Brands offer some budget-friendly skincare basics. 1.) Clear Zinc broad spectrum sun lotion SPF 50: This is a combination sunscreen (Zinc and octocrylene). It is free of fragrance and water resistant up to 80 minutes. Personally I love this product. It leaves minimal cast for me, but if you have a darker skin type it may be casty from the zinc. It does not pill or ball up and is not greasy. 2.) Creamy acne face wash: This is a 4% benzoyl peroxide (BP) wash, same as PanOxyl's. Use as a lather, in the shower, to acne prone areas (avoid eye area). Let it sit on the skin for a few minutes before rinsing off. This approach minimizes irritation while still providing benefit from the BP. 3.) Oil control foam wash: this is an every day face cleanser for oily skin that is identical to Cetaphil's Pro Dermacontrol foaming wash. If you don't have oily skin you may find it drying. Like Cetaphil, it has added fragrance, which is less risky in rinse off products, but not ideal. 4.) Beauty 360 Intense Repairing Lotion Fragrance Free. This is a decent body moisturizer, and works well on the face as a PM moisturizer. It is not greasy and is identical to vaseline intensive rescue repairing moisturizer. 5) CVS healing ointment. This is identical to aquaphor, and is a good choice for dry lips. Like aquaphor, it has lanolin in it, which some people can become allergic to. I prefer Cerave healing ointment, but they did not dupe that with a generic at CVS.
