I needed a home for my coffee situation and my little bar — and I needed it off the counters. My beautiful quartz deserves better than a bunch of extra stuff covering it!
When I renovated the kitchen, there was a nook originally designed for a small table. But with a counter bar and a dining table already in the plan, another eating space made no sense — so I gave that nook a better job.
This beverage center fit the space perfectly, and then I did what I always do — I couldn't leave it as-is. The white doors got repainted to match my white cabinets exactly, and the black knobs got a gold spray paint upgrade to match my cabinet handles.
Because the best piece in a room is one that looks like it was always meant to be there.

I've been using red light masks for about 4 years. My first one was from OmniLux and I loved it. When it would no longer hold a charge, I switched to a new one that includes a piece for under the chin. Since I'm dealing with jowls at my age, I'm happy to have the extra red light help for that area. Red light masks are easy to use. I wear it about 4 days a weeks for 10 minutes each time. I designed this dining nook for a client. She has a corner area with low windows so I chose backless banquette seating. It's cozy. Most of the backless banquettes are wood. I wanted a more luxury designer look so I choose to use 2 upholstered benches and put them together. This is actually way less expensive than it looks. I chose a statement table to make it a focal point of the nook. Accents of pillows, rug, and wicker pendant light, finish off the coastal chic dining nook.

Spring is a great time to think about swimsuit cover ups. I have 3 of this type of swim dress/cover up UPF 50+. I wear them a lot - walking on the beach, paddleboarding, kayaking, and more. They offer great sun protection which is good for all ages. But women over 50 will especially appreciate the full coverage.
