talk about a dramatic before and after! when we first purchased the witchymodernhouse, we knew we wanted to transform the enclosed stairwell leading to the attic into an open, airy staircase. to accomplish this, we replaced the existing wall with a black metal railing and added white oak stair treads and bold black and white cement tile to the risers. we love how these elements add bold style to the space, but are still neutral. dwelloctober LTKhome
