Here’s why:

💛 It adds color without adding a separate accessory. A yellow cardigan tied at the waist does three things at once — it defines your waist, introduces a pop of color, and adds a layer you can actually use if it gets cool. A belt can only do one of those things.

💛 It makes a simple outfit look intentionally styled. Striped shirt + white linen pants is a great combination on its own. Add a tied cardigan and suddenly the whole look feels considered and put together in a way that’s hard to explain but impossible to miss.
