Here’s my hot take: If an outfit looks “off,” it doesn’t necessarily mean you picked the wrong clothes. And you probably don’t need to take everything off and start over. 🙃 After years of styling women, I can tell you that sometimes the difference between an outfit that feels wrong and one that just WORKS is one small change. A different shoe. A little tuck. Removing the jacket. Changing the proportion of the top. Adding a belt. That’s it. We’ve somehow convinced ourselves that if an outfit doesn’t immediately come together, we need a completely different outfit. But good styling isn’t always about finding better pieces. A lot of the time, it’s about knowing how to adjust the pieces you already have. So before you change your top for the third time, stop. Change ONE thing. Then look again. You might be surprised by how little the outfit actually needed. 🤍 StylingTips PersonalStylist StyleOver40 WardrobeTips EffortlessStyle
