In love with this decorative bowl! The color is perfection. NEW Fill it with lemons, apples, artichokes, pears, or faux flowers. Your options are endless.
Stay tuned for more blue coming soon!
-Swap out pillow covers for soft blue tones or subtle patterns.
-Add blue through everyday pieces (think dishes, mugs, or glassware).
-Bring in blue with fresh or faux flowers.
-Layer in blue through throws or lightweight blankets.
-Use blue in artwork or printable wall art.
-Try a small rug with hints of blue woven in.
-Incorporate blue through books on a coffee table or shelf.
-Add a simple blue vase or bowl to a vignette.
-Use blue in kitchen linens like tea towels or napkins.
-Mix blue with your existing neutrals for a balanced look. If you like the idea of adding blue to your home but not sure where to start, here’s some cozy ideas: Start small, you don’t need to change everything for it to feel different! I’d love to see the blues you have in your home!
P.S. I’m currently working on making lampshade covers for our pendant lights using this same fabric. I wanted more blue in the kitchen so I made curtains with blue floral bedsheets for the inside of our hutch.
Then I hung the same curtains that we have in our living room in our kitchen.
That didn’t feel like enough blue so I added some blue gingham pillows to our couch.
I decided to start decorating our home for me (our family) and not worrying about what’s trending or what others might think on social media. So I hung these blue floral curtains in our living room.
And then shortly after we added the wallpaper to the bathroom, we hung this floral wallpaper in our bedroom. Many years later and I still love this moody wallpaper!
Way before I started Eleanor Rose Home we had blue grasscloth wallpaper hung in our downstairs bathroom. And while I’ve been thinking of changing it in recent years, it’s starting to grow on me again.
My friends were asking me for easy ideas on how to add more blue to their decor so I sent them this list.

Another cross stitch arrived in the mail!
I didn’t realize these pillow covers were the cozy cottage vibe our home was missing.

The new rug is down and I’m loving it! I always forget how much a rug can change the look and feel of a room. If dark blue isn’t your color, there are 8 other rug colors to choose from.
Loving the pattern and color this rug is adding to our downstairs!

Here’s closer look at the old rug and the new one. If you want the link to either rug, comment SHOP and I’ll send you the link!
Mr. ERH isn’t going to be happy when he comes in and sees that I unwrapped the new rug lol, but I couldn’t wait to show you!
If you love MacKenzie-Childs checkered cutting board but refuse to spend $200 on it (hello, same), I found a similar one on Amazon on sale for $29.99. It’s the same size and it has juice grooves.
I’ve had this $15 marble candle tray for years and it’s finally back in stock.

I cannot wait to hang this up!
I found this cross stitch on Poshmark which is a new to me shopping platform, but I highly suggest checking it out!

Cozy home decor and clothes I paid full price for (and would pay full price again) but luckily you don’t have to! There is something so satisfying about finding a piece you absolutely love, and then finding out someone else can get it for less. I’ve been collecting these cozy staples for a while now, and they have honestly transformed our home and my wardrobe in the best way possible.

Cozy Tip: Mix different colored ginghams by simply changing the scale. Pair a larger check with a smaller one so it feels layered and cozy instead of too matchy.

Adding new brighter and lighter pillow covers to the couch for spring.

I hung them in the kitchen too!
I loved the curtains I hung in the living room so much…..
The frame on our Echo Show is also on sale. It’s truly what makes this electronic look like a piece of art. It does come in 3 other colors.
Kinda wish I had waited to buy our Amazon Echo Show because it’s on sale for $349, I paid $399.
Texting my homebody besties to buy these things now because the sales are just too good to wait!
