If you’ve been here a while, you probably know I’m a big proponent of what I call, functional decor. My ADD mind can’t handle a house stuffed full of things just for the sake of decorating. I love pretty things (hello, obviously), but I love them even more when they actually serve a purpose. And I think that’s especially true when it comes to seasonal decorating. I don’t necessarily want to keep adding more and more things to our home every time the seasons change. I’d much rather find ways to make the things we already need and use feel a little more seasonal. To me and my little corner of the internet, that’s the best kind of decorating. It’s practical, it keeps our home from feeling cluttered, and I still get that little thrill of making everything feel fresh and cozy for fall.
