For a beautiful and simple holiday dining table centerpiece:
1. 2 Table runners to layer. I layered a white/black one from @westelm under a black mesh one from @CB2 (u can even just repurpose or buy fabric from your local craft store)!

2. 4 tall black candlestick holders. I believe I got these on @amazon (you can also spray other holders with @rustoleum to make them black)

3. 4 white taper candles. ( also @amazonhome but u can get anywhere)

4. 4 tea light candles in glass holders (mine are from @michaelsstores )

5. Two simple white vases with fresh greens (or faux). I got these ones ready made from @target in the @magnolia section this year. If you have fresh clippings from a Christmas tree, even better!

Because… one way to help combat the winter blues is to surround yourself with light!

1. Paint your walls white (reflects light around your room).

2. Change out your accents to a softer brighter palette.

3. Enjoy more sunshine, make time to go outside or sit in a window. (Vitamin D deficiency is a real thing).

4. Surround yourself with things that remind you of summer. (My happy place is the beach so my bedroom goes coastal in wintertime).

This beautiful hand-woven rug sets the tone. It’s soft and bright with subtle pops of spa blue that remind me of the ocean. When winter seems to droll on forever, I’ll have my own little retreat here in this bedroom.

We furnished this whole dining space from top to bottom for under $2500, lighting included! Farmhouse table and benches plus two slope leather dining chairs on each end. Matte black island pendants are streamlined and finish the space perfectly. And the best part is the extension table seats 8 comfortably. Possibly 10 if some of them have little tooshies.
