I’m eight-months postpartum after a C-section and easing back into movement intentionally 🤍 I had severe diastasis recti (deep separation of the abdominal muscles) that was borderline going to require surgery to correct. I’ve spent the last seven months working with an incredible pelvic floor therapist to heal my core before doing formal workouts. I could’ve rushed it. I wanted to rush it. I chose not to. This season has taught me: rebuilding your foundation matters more than bouncing back (especially when your body has done something major). No matter your season of life: I hope this reminds you that slow, intentional progress counts too.
