This place is just…. beyond magical 🏡🪟🌾 This is the view from the boys’ playroom upstairs (the last room @wesmabry is painting 🖼️ as we speak… eeek!! 🤭) and I’ll never get over it!! 🤍

And wes just dropped by a truckload of free (!!) boxes 📦👏🏽 (there’s way more still in his truck!) 🛻 before he headed back out to the farm 🚜🌾 to finish painting 🖼️ while the littles are napping 😴 - so this is our plan for the rest of the week!!! 🥳✨ #itsmovingtimeyall 🤩🚚

Sweet Wes went to sparkle city ✨ this morning to grab lots of moving 🚚 boxes 📦 from his parents’ work (so nice!!! 👏🏽👏🏽) and the trailer (& some of his childhood furniture 🛌🪑for Judson’s new room 🫶🏽) and we’ve been getting stuff done ✔️ around the house and doing some grocery shopping 🛒, too (lol that #postchristmas run that is much needed 🤪)!! And now both are about to go down for naps 💤, Wes is about to drop off boxes 📦 for me to start packing 🤭🥳, and he is going to head to the farm to finish 🤩 painting the inside (he is almost done y’all!!!! 🔥🔥)!! Happy Monday and new week!! ❤️

And this handsome man 😘🔥 has been painting the whole house 🏡 the prettiest whites (“Alabaster” and “Pure White” by @sherwinwilliams for those asking 🥰🫶🏽) and it’s looking sooooo good y’all!!! 👏🏽😍 I love this place so much and love that we get to build our forever here - just such a dream come TRUE!!! 🥹😭

And even on this rainy day 🌧️, we had the sweetest neighbors show up at our front door 🥹🚪 and bring a welcome gift 🎁 - and y’all… they could not have been more kind or welcoming!!! ❤️ What a gift this special place is and we feel so blessed already to be surrounded such wonderful people!!! 🫶🏽🌟

We loved having @wesmabry ‘s parents up to visit for the afternoon to come see the farm 🏡🌾 and they fell in love, too! ❤️ We walked them around the whole property and through the barn and even got to meet some neighbors, too!! 🫶🏽 It is truly just….. a dream come true and these little country boys of ours are in absolute HEAVEN out here!!! 👶🏼😍

It’s been such a happy lil’ day around here and my heart is overflowing!!! 🤭❤️ Even on a rainy rainy day ☔️, the drive into our farm with our sleeping 💤 babies 👶🏼 in the backseat is just a dream come true 💭😭 - we live in the middle of a breathtaking horsing 🐴 community and every farm surrounding ours has horses upon horses. 🐎- it is just UNREAL !! 🥹 I can’t believe this is where my babies get to grow up - surrounded by God’s beautiful Creation and farms upon farms!! 🐎🌾

And now we’re headed over 🛻 to the “horse house” 🐴🏡 (as Judson calls it 🤭) to meet Wes’ parents to show them the farm 🚜🌾 and then get some more painting work done!! ✔️ Hope everyone has the best Sunday!! 🤍

We’ve just had the sweetest time back home in Charlotte 🌃 with my family these first sweet slow couple of days after Christmas 🎄 - enjoying opening presents 🎁, watching the little ones 👶🏼 play with all their toys 🚜🧸 (and J learning how to ride his new bike 🚲 - so fun!! 🤩), staying in pajamas until noon 🤭, and soaking in this magical 🪄 time of year!! 🎅🏻🌟 #coziesttimeoftheyear

This morning, my mom went and found all of my old boxes 📦 of books 📚 from my teacher 👩‍🏫 days 🍎 (that all have the “Miss Carpenter” sticker on them ✏️🥹) and thought they would be perfect for my homeschooling classroom ahead on the farm 🚜🌾 - and we found the sweetest book 📖 I had called “The Little House” 🏡 that made us think of our sweet little house on the hill 🏡 on our new farm!! ✨ It was precious!! And we had my family’s classic Danish Kringle cake 🍰 and Christmas casserole 🥘 for breakfast - just the best!!! ❤️🎄💚 #christmasnostalgia
