And there’s no better storytime book 📖 for learning about forests than the Lorax 🌳 by Dr. Seuss!! ❤️💙🩷❤️💛 I linked it for y’all over on my LTKit shop!! 🔗 You know the kindergarten/preschool teacher 👩‍🏫 in me lives for a good storytime!!! 🫶🏽 It truly is how I believe children learn best!!! 🌾

And then back to the barn to swing swing swing on the new swingset daddy built overlooking the pastures… what a dream 💭 y’all!! 🫶🏽

Lots of fun was had with these little country boys 👶🏼🩵👶🏼 playing with sticks 🪾 and rocks 🪨 and “catching fish” 🎣 hehe 🤭 according to Levi Rhett!! 🐟

And in honor of learning all about the forest 🌿🍃, we walked on down the farm to the creek 💦 on this beautiful sunny ☀️ day!! 🌞

Summertime homeschool learning has been so sweet and gives us so much more freedom during the school year!! This week’s unit is all things “forest” 🌳🪾 and we’ve been having lots of fun exploring our new books 📚 from the library 📕 and doing some review work, too!! 🫶🏽

one thing that is filling me with such JOY is seeing how they are truly playing together (!!) 24/7 now!! I am just so grateful God gave them a #builtinbestfriend and brother duo in one another… and it truly has been life changing for me (!!) being able to get so much more done around the house 🏡 now that they’re these sweet aged and can entertain themselves so well!! 🤩

Gave almost all of our garden harvest goodness 🧺🌼🫑🍅🫛🌿 to Wes’ parents and grandparents 🫶🏽 for Father’s Day ☀️, but still so so pretty 🤩 what I have left sitting on my kitchen island!! 🫙🌞🥚💐 Alllll the homegrown goodness and colors - so beautiful! 😍

Oh what a night ✨ we’ve had out here on the farm!! 🤭 Watch til the very end 🥰 to see what “Dada” finished ✔️ building for the babies 👶🏼 out here overlooking our pastures!!! 🌳 And while “Dada” was busy 🪚 hard at work 💪🏽, the little 👶🏼 cowboys 🤠 and I went exploring on our 12 acres 🌾 and then by the pond 🦆, too!! 🩵 Since we got the treehouse playset 🛝 and porchswing 🤍 now in the backyard 🪴, we wanted to still use our extra swings 💨 - so my handsome 🔥 hardworking 🛠️ man built 🪵 from scratch another (!!) swingset for them out here in front of the barn!! 🐴 And boy oh BOY it is such a dream 💭 y’all!! 💙 And we’ve been wanting to spend more time out exploring all this land, too - so it really feels like the perfect spot (and I mean, that view is unreal 🌅)!! 👌🏽 Ladies, marry the man who makes all your dreams come true and can bring your visions to life 👏🏽 hehe - it truly is the BEST!! 🤩 Also… we saw baby bunnies 🐰🐇 on the farm tonight, too!! 🤗
