We have spent the past couple days decorating 📦 for the autumn season 🌻🌾 and it has been so special getting to make our sweet farmhouse 🏡 on the hill ⛰️ oh so cozy 🕯️(& a porch full of rocking chairs 🪑, pumpkins 🎃 and mums 🌼) for our very first (!!) fall season 🤎 here on the farm!! 🧡😍 We even updated our chicken 🐓coop with a cutie little fall wreath, too!! 🤭✝️🍁 Happy Fall, y’all!! 🎃🌼🍂 And I must say, Judson’s hand-painted 🎨 “pumpkin garland” 🧡 (that we eventually will hang in the homeschool room!) is my most favorite 🤩 decoration of all!! 🥰

I was telling some sweet friends 💖 at our local CBS bible study 📖 group this morning (where the boys get to go to their weekly preschool 🍎 and nursery 💒 classes with their little friends, too 🫶🏽) just how wonderful our first day back of homeschool preschool ✏️ was yesterday, and I’m still not over the excitement and cuteness it was!! 🥰 And they are at the most precious little ages for it this year, too!! 👶🏼💙 Levi Rhett just wants to tag along and do whatever Judson is doing, so it really makes for such a sweet learning duo!! 🩵 It is truly such a joy 🤩 and dream 💭 come true getting to be “mommy teacher” 👩‍🏫 and facilitate a love ❤️ for learning 📚 in my little ones out here on our farm 🌾 (so surreal 🥹)… just such a full circle ⭕️ “pinch me” kind of feeling!! 🥲 Our day was filled with homemade sweet potato 🍠 pencil ✏️ waffles 🧇 (the smiles and pure giddy excitement was the sweetest thing ever 😭), handprint 🤚 crafts 🎨 and cut & glue art 🖼️, puzzles 🧩 and learning fun 🤩, handwriting practice ✍️, calendar 🗓️ and music 🎶 time ✨, an afternoon bike ride 🚲 and “little blue car” 🚙 walk down by the pond 🪿, daddy coming home 🏡 from work to pull out mama’s fall 🍂 decor boxes 📦 from the building (so excited 🤭 and can’t wait to share pics/videos of it all soon - the farmhouse looks oh so festive and cozy 🔥 for fall, y’all! 🍁), front porch jammies and watching “Dada” cutting the grass 🚜 at sunset 🌅, and back to our weekly local bible study group today!! 🎒 Andddd swipe ➡️ to the *very* end to see the most adorable ☺️ little “homemade pumpkin garland” 🎃 Judson made ✂️ (my new favorite decoration of all)!! 😍 I love this happy and exciting time of year and all the joy that it brings 🙌🏽 - Happy September and back-to-school 🖍️ season, friends!! 🍏

I got lots of fall 🍂 decorating done last night 🌼 (can’t wait to show y’all later!!) - but before we head out the door 🚪 to our weekly bible study 📖 group (& preschool/nursery classes 💒 for these cuties!), wanted to show the little “pumpkin garland” 🎃 we made this morning with Judson’s little handmade decorations 🖍️🎨 - my favorite of all!! Can’t wait to hang this up as part of our decor, too!! 🤩

And eek!! 🤭 The perfect ending to our first day “back to school” 🍎✏️ was daddy coming home 🏡 from work 😍 to get out all of mama’s fall 🍁 decorating 🍁 boxes 📦 (& since we haven’t gotten real pumpkins 🎃 yet, Judson wanted to make mama some paper pumpkin decorations ✂️🖍️ - how stinkin’ cute!! 🥰)!! Can’t wait to get started on all my fall decorating (for our very first fall season 🧡 here on the farm 🚜 - yay 🎉) this week ahead!! 🤩 Linked everything 🔗 I could over on my LTKit shop!! 🫶🏽

Afternoon walks 🌳 down the driveway and around the farm will never get old 😍 - this view and our barn with the sunlight ☀️ rays behind it… just so beautiful!! 🤩

And we loveeee a fun 🤩 little cut & paste activity (great 👏🏽 for fine motor skills 🙌🏽) around here ✂️🔖 - look how adorable ☺️ their little apples turned out!!! 🍏😍 And we learned about how we are “handpicked” and created by God ✝️ - what a gift 🎁 it is getting to raise and teach them in the Word!! 📖

And I always loved using “Handwriting Without Tears” ✍️ back when I was teaching 👩‍🏫 in the classroom 🍎, so I was excited to get these little workbooks 📖 for Judson to work through this fall!! ✏️😍

Little Emily 👧 would be absolutely *giddy* 🥹🤭 seeing her actual dream 💭 come to life 🥲 - living out on 12.5 acres on our farm 🌾 sweet farm 🚜 and getting to be “mommy teacher” 👩‍🏫 to my babies!! 👶🏼 If you ask anyone in my family or neighborhood growing up 🍏, I had my own little “schoolroom” 🏫 up in our playroom (always teaching ✍️ my little sister 👩, friends ❤️, and often my stuffed animals 🧸 haha) and it truly feels so full circle ⭕️ now getting to do this daily ☀️ with my own little ones 👶🏼 and having a *real-life* little homeschool room!! 🪑🫶🏽 And as a former kindergarten/pre-school teacher ✨ (both stateside 🇺🇸 and in Uganda 🇺🇬), I have always had such deep love for children and watching them grow 🌱 and have felt a strong calling and tug from the Lord 🙏 ever since Judson was born 🤱 (and now Sweet Baby Levi Rhett getting to tag along 🩵 and learn right with us!! 😍) to homeschool ✏️… and now here we are!! 🫶🏽 We love to do “teachin’ time” 🍏 (as Judson calls it 🤭) all year long around here (I really like the rhythm of it and my boys love to learn!! 📕) in the farmhouse 🏠, but always have our “official” first day back after Labor Day Weekend!! 🇺🇸 We are all so excited for another precious year of homeschool preschool 🍎 full of wonder 💫, reading 📖, writing ✍️, the magic 🪄
