All smiles around here ❤️ as today is our official first day back of h o m e s w e e t h o m e s c h o o l 🍎🏡✏️ out here on the farm!! 🫶🏽🖍️🧺📚✂️📖🎒🌟🎨📝 firstdayofschool homeschoolpreschool homesweethomeschool homeschoolmama Little Emily 👧 would be absolutely *giddy* 🥹🤭 seeing her actual dream 💭 come to life 🥲 - living out on 12.5 acres on our farm 🌾 sweet farm 🚜 and getting to be “mommy teacher” 👩‍🏫 to my babies!! 👶🏼 If you ask anyone in my family or neighborhood growing up 🍏, I had my own little “schoolroom” 🏫 up in our playroom (always teaching ✍️ my little sister 👩, friends ❤️, and often my stuffed animals 🧸 haha) and it truly feels so full circle ⭕️ now getting to do this daily ☀️ with my own little ones 👶🏼 and having a *real-life* little homeschool room!! 🪑🫶🏽 And as a former kindergarten/pre-school teacher ✨ (both stateside 🇺🇸 and in Uganda 🇺🇬), I have always had such deep love for children and watching them grow 🌱 and have felt a strong calling and tug from the Lord 🙏 ever since Judson was born 🤱 (and now Sweet Baby Levi Rhett getting to tag along 🩵 and learn right with us!! 😍) to homeschool ✏️… and now here we are!! 🫶🏽 We love to do “teachin’ time” 🍏 (as Judson calls it 🤭) all year long around here (I really like the rhythm of it and my boys love to learn!! 📕) in the farmhouse 🏠, but always have our “official” first day back after Labor Day Weekend!! 🇺🇸 We are all so excited for another precious year of homeschool preschool 🍎 full of wonder 💫, reading 📖, writing ✍️, the magic 🪄 of childhood 🌿, and P L A Y !!! 🪵🛝🌼🍂
