Dreamiest rainy morning ☔️ backyard view 🌾 before we left for church this morning !! 💒

Our farmhouse felt so cozy 🥰 this morning with the rainy fog 🌫️ outside the big kitchen windows 🪟 and with our new buffet and crotchet… it just feels so like “us” in there now and is my little sanctuary!!! 🕯️ There is nothing better than making a house a HOME !!! 🏡 And then look at what Judson made in Sunday school today!! 🌍 We love our church so much!! 🌟

Look at those gorgeous 🤩 farm fresh eggs 🥚 (I truly can’t get over it 🥰🤭) anddd found the perfect spot for the sweet crotchet lace 🤍 (from our first fixer upper home 🏡 back in sparkle ✨ city 🏙️) on our new buffet, too!!! 🫶🏽

And ended the evening harvesting even more (!!) tomatoes 🍅 and green beans 🫛 from our garden 🪴- listen to that sweet baby voice!!! My heart!!! ❤️

And nothing says “Happy August” 🧡 like harvesting our very first homegrown pumpkin 🎃 hehe!! 🥰

And this cutie found his very own whittle ladybug 🐞 and I CANNOT get over how stinkin’ cute 🥰 his whittle voice is!!! 🥹😭 “So cute! Look! So cute daddy!!” I melt!!! 🤭

And look how good this new buffet looks in here in the farmhouse 🌾 y’all 🤭… we are in love!!! 😍 This fits our style so much better 🪑 and we are so excited!!! 🥰

And came back home from all of today’s fun 🤩 to 11 (!!) eggs 🥚 from our girlies 🐓- just from today - and we had one earlier… so that’s 12 eggs in one day!!! 🤯 Like my mom said, it looks like an Easter 🐣 basket 🧺 with all those colors!!! 🌈 I’m giddy y’all!!! 🤭😍

Andddd another Facebook marketplace find 🤭 officially picked up hehe!!! 🛻 We are so excited about this buffet - it’s more of an old rustic farmhouse vibe and we think it will fit our home 🏡 and property perfectly!!! 🌾🌻

We had the best time celebrating Sweet Baby George at Wes’ parents house today!!! 👶🏼🎉🎂🥳🎈Oh how we love that sweet baby and y’all so, @salliekbsmi & John!!! 🥰😍

And y’all… last night at my in-law’s, my thoughtful mother-in-love gave me these two vintage cream blankets (the thick throw and this beautiful hand crouchet piece!!) that she had saved from our first house 🏡 back in Spartanburg!! ✨ How special is that!! I had been overseas serving as a missionary in Uganda 🇺🇬 when wes and both sets of our parents were getting our first home sweet home 🏠 ready and I can’t believe she had saved these from all those years ago!!! 🥹She said she knew I would want them one day and now we get to keep a piece of our very first fixer upper home with us forever - my heart!!!! ❤️

on our way now to one of wes’ cousin’s baby’s birthday party 🎉 but it was such a cozy little morning on the farm!! 🐓☕️

Then headed out the door 🚪 with my littles 👶🏼👶🏼 to pick up 🤭 another fb marketplace find - these adorable vintage white lamps 💡(with the most precious gingham blue ribbon trim 🤩) up the mountain to Marion, NC ⛰️ and then stopped at the @hobbylobby there (my favorite store 🤭) to get a birthday gift 🎁 for “RaRa” (Judson and Levi Rhett picked it out themselves 🥹) and picked up a couple cutie ☺️ little items for our farmhouse, too!! 🏡 Look at that precious gold ribbon 🎀 lamp 💡 andddd these beautiful dried flower 💐 frames 🖼️- obsessed!!! 🙌🏽

Last night consisted of Daddy doing yard work ✨, planting some pumpkin 🎃 and carrot 🥕 seeds in our garden 🪴 beds 🪵 (going to start our “fall garden” as we go this year and as different plants phase out 💛 and we have space 🌿) with the cutest tiny little hands 🙌🏽 and helpers 👶🏼💦, harvesting 🧺 tomatoes 🍅 and more homegrown goodness 🫛🌶️ , and watching the sunset 🌅 over the pastures as daddy did some more weed eating along the fence lines!! 🤍 And LOOK 👀 at all those WATERMELON 🍉 we have growing y’all!!! 😍 We truly have so many I can’t even count them all… we are all so excited!! 🤭🥰 And before bed, these two loveeee to draw ✍🏼 on their little stencil pads they got ✨ and Judson just started writing his alphabet independently… look at that smart boy!! 💙
