Hello, I’m Emily and I’m a homebody. While I absolutely love to travel and explore new places, I adore being at my apartment just as much. Since I’ll be working from home for the foreseeable future, I wanted to carve out one space in my house that felt like a sanctuary. I immediately knew I wanted it to be my bedroom and I’ve been slowly redecorating to make it feel like an oasis. I’ve replaced my old bedroom set for this bright pink headboard, my mattress for a Big Fig meant for those with larger bodies, adding different layers of comfort to the bed through pillows and blankets and investing in pajamas that I adore. After a long day of work, escaping to my bedroom feels like such a luxury. Maybe your oasis is your balcony, or a chair you like to read in - whatever it is, I highly recommend adding a few touches to make it feel like a little escape from the daily grind. #LTKcurves
