Gotta love a British Summer and the ever changing weather 🙃

I hate to say it but Autumn will be here before we know it. Ok, I don’t hate to say that because I’m an Autumn girl 🍂🙌🏼 but I know lots of you are still clinging on to Summer. We’ll soon be needing to make those little adjustments to our Summer outfits to suit the transitional weather.
This outfit combination has been a go-to of mine for the last two decades. My love of blazers is possibly why so many of you hit ‘follow’ over the years. So, here’s to the return of ‘Blazer Weather’ 🙌🏼

What I wore out for dinner last night in London

(The bag was from Zara last year but I’ve linked lots of similar alternatives.)

I prioritise comfort when it comes to my outfits, especially in Summer when things are heating up 🥵 and because I’m reaching that age where #perimenopause is starting to kick in.

These trousers are 30% Linen and 70% Viscose with an elasticated waist (my fave 😜). There’s a whole variety of styles in this fabric, including shorts, and I have them all. The viscose element in the fabric reduces creasing and softens the fabric in comparison to 100% linen which creases very easily and can feel quite scratchy and they more of a fluid movement to them. They’re lightweight & breathable, perfect for Summer.

I’m a UK size 10, 5’9 and I’m wearing a size M in the dress. A size S would have been fine but I wanted it extra baggy so I sized up. For just a loose fit stick with your regular size, for a much looser fit size up by 1 size.
