We’re heading home today from the most wonderful long weekend in Park City, Utah, with dear friends, and my heart is so full. Time in God’s creation, deep conversations, incredible food, fresh mountain air, and more laughter than I can even count… these are the kinds of weekends that stay with you long after you unpack your suitcase.

One of my favorite gifts of this empty nest season has been the freedom to say “yes” to weekends like this. Our kids are grown and living their own lives, our schedules are more flexible, and we’ve found so much joy in investing in friendships and making memories together. It’s one of the sweetest surprises of this season of life.

Yesterday, I met with our @park_interiors designer at the plumbing showroom to make selections for our empty nester remodel.

I climbed in tubs, tested comfort levels, compared finishes, and tried to picture it all coming together in our new home. Thankfully, this bright orange organic cotton maxi was as comfortable as it was practical—and modest enough for all that tub testing. 😂
