I want to be extremely transparent in this post. I took a week break from posting on social media because I was in a funk and having a hard time. See the thing about social media is that sometimes it’s not truthful! You can look at all my pics and posts and think that I’m so happy, that I’m healthy and that I’m always feeling pretty damn good! On social media you can look at my pics and you really don’t know a lot going on from a personal level unless I tell you! Social media hides a lot.

The past month has been a real struggle, physically, emotionally and financially. About a month ago I have noticed that I am in a lot more pain than usual (always in pain from over 30 surgeries including 8 back surgeries) with extremely swollen joints and rashes. The simplest things I can’t do, I thought maybe I worked out or pushed myself too hard. I decided to go see my Rheumatologist. I just had all the testing done for RA and Lupus. I already have two autoimmune diseases (Crohn’s and IGA) why not a 3rd lol. Most of the tests came back with a lot of swelling throughout my body. If that wasn’t bad enough I’m having more issues with my Cauda Equiana and not being able to go to the bathroom.
Cauda equina syndrome is a condition that occurs when the bundle of nerves below the end of the spinal cord is damaged.

I have spent the last two weeks in bed in a lot of pain but also feeling sorry for myself! I was upset I wasn’t able to cook for my family, take care of my fur babies, my mom who needs help and especially wasn’t able to do what I love most, work out! Then unexpectedly my cat got even sicker and we needed to take him to the vet emergency! It was so hard to find the money to hospitalize him and I felt like such a failure at that moment! I was so short with everyone I loved, I felt every emotion there was to feel. So if I was an ass to you I’m so sorry! .

I go through a lot to not give up on my health! The countless doctors appointments, the food prep, the shakes I drink and the work I put in everyday! A lot of people count on me so I can’t give up!
