Finally, I gave false lashes a try. Since this was my first time investing in something like this, I did a lot of research to ensure I was buying cruelty free synthetic lashes.

Most false lashes are unfortunately made from mink fur. Brands that sell these want you to believe that minks are not harmed in the process and their fur is gently shaved for false lashes. But c’mon, you know how any animal industry works, let it be for meat, handbags, animal testing etc. If you ever try to google for how mink farms or any animal farms are run, you will realize how badly animals are tortured and then killed for their skins. So mink lashes are NOT Crueltyfree, minks are tortured and killed for their fur.
