Hi, been a while. Today was the first day I put makeup on in about 3 weeks (felt like 3 months) ... it’s nice to feel attractive again 😂 I’ve been wanting to do a pale blue, vaguely 60’s inspired look for AGES so here it finally is. Why I chose the hottest day so far this year, who knows. ⁣

Shimmer eyeshadows are kind of new to me but I’m liking the added dimension they give. I actually used the Profusion palette for my cheeks and lips too, just to see how many products I could replace with one palette. Probably could have done my eyebrows too, come to think of it! Pink and glitter - two things I’ve never had much of an interest in 😅 I’ve dabbled with pink in the past but always seen it as ‘cute’ - not a word I typically feel associated with. I used to think blending shadow right up to the eyebrow was overkill but with the right colour I think it looks amaaazing. I also used to only wear ‘heavy’ eye makeup for gigs; now I find myself going out for the day with neon purple eyelids like I’m fresh off an avant garde shoot.
