One of my favorite DIY tricks for making affordable furniture look high-end? Upgrade the hardware. Welcome to part one of my mom’s office makeover! I wanted this laundry room to feel calm and actually functional — not just a place we rush through. We kept the palette really soft and neutral, layered in textures, and focused on the little details that make everyday routines feel prettier.

I designed these custom laundry labels to keep everything cohesive (because nothing ruins the vibe like mismatched packaging 🙃) and I listed them on Etsy so you can use them in your own laundry room too.

And one of my favorite little upgrades? I DIY’d the dryer top tray to create a clean folding surface and catch-all moment — it makes the whole space feel more custom and intentional.

Our bedroom finally feels complete.
 We added custom motorized blackout shades and pleated linen drapes from @twopagescurtains and it changed everything. The space feels softer, more tailored, and honestly… way more peaceful.

The best standing desk for a home office makeover? I think I found it.

Welcome back to Part 2 of building my mom her dream office!

After transforming the walls, adding paneling, and building the cabinets, it was finally time to make the space functional—starting with the desk.

We chose the @Vernal_space Light-Walnut Executive Standing Desk, and it couldn't have been a better fit. It was surprisingly easy to assemble, the height adjusts effortlessly, and the privacy panel keeps everything looking clean and streamlined.

My mom spends long hours working, so I love that she can easily switch between sitting and standing throughout the day without sacrificing the warm, custom look we were going for.

The fall decor is officially coming out… and thankfully my @Narwalrobot Freo 20 is keeping up with the mess.

I’m finally pulling out the autumn antiques I’ve been collecting all summer, styling fall stems, and bringing those warmer, cozier touches back into our home.
