DIY Wood Mantle 🤎 I built this as a temporary fix before we fully remodel our fireplace next year—and you guys loved it, so here’s how I did it. No power tools (besides a drill).

I cut the wood using a miter box and hand saw, used L-brackets to connect the pieces, stained it with my favorite stain, and slid it into place. I recommend screwing it down as well. That’s it.

If you have the tools, you can miter the edges—but I actually love it just like this. Part 2 coming soon for the sides.

Building my dream vanity felt long overdue 🤍
 I’ve always wanted a dedicated space where getting ready feels calm instead of chaotic, and this vanity from @temu came together so easily.

I somehow managed to fill all eleven drawers, and even the seat has hidden storage for hot tools—so good.

The mirror has three light settings plus built-in outlets, so everything stays plugged in and ready to go.

Sealed the edges, added grout for that real tile look, finished with a brass transition, and painted the trim and doors in soft, contrasting tones.🤍
