I’ve owned this bag long enough to know whether it was simply a beautiful purchase or a piece that truly earned its place in my wardrobe.

What I love most is how effortlessly it elevates an outfit. I chose the medium size, and it comfortably fits all of my everyday essentials without feeling oversized. The dark taupe color has also been incredibly versatile—it works with black, brown, denim, ivory, and softer neutrals, making it one of the easiest luxury bags to style year-round.

1 Item, 3 Ways: Sam Edelman Hazel Pumps

A great neutral pump should do more than work with one office outfit. These Hazel pumps earn their place in my wardrobe because they can move between denim, corduroy, and a pleated skirt without feeling boring or overly formal.

I styled them three ways:

1. Everyday: AYR Practice Tee + FRAME Borrowed Jeans
2. Elevated casual: AYR Practice Tee + Maeve Colette corduroy pants + olive cardigan
3. Polished: AYR Practice Tee + skirt + plaid blazer

I kept the accessories consistent with my dark-taupe Gucci Marmont and Monica Vinader jewelry to show how a few strong staples can create completely different outfits.

If I were rebuilding my wardrobe from scratch, this GAP Supima Cotton T-Shirt would be one of my first purchases.

Finding a great basic tee is harder than it should be, but this one checks every box for me. It’s lightweight without feeling flimsy, has enough structure to look polished, and it’s the perfect length for a French tuck without adding bulk.

I ordered both of these dresses, but only one earned a place in my wardrobe.

The chocolate brown Abercrombie dress had a similar silhouette, but it wasn’t the right fit for me. The bust didn’t sit quite right, the fabric had more structure and volume than I wanted, and it didn’t drape the way I look for in a dress. I knew I wouldn’t reach for it again and again.

The linen Aritzia dress, on the other hand, checked every box. It fit beautifully, felt effortless, and has the timeless simplicity I know I’ll wear for years.

One question has completely changed the way I shop:

“Would I buy this again today?”

If the answer is no, it doesn’t belong in my wardrobe.
