For this look I paired a striped blouse with a classic navy blazer, straight-leg denim, and pointed pumps. The chocolate brown suede belt helps define my waist for a slimming effect, and straight-leg denim is one of the cuts that works best for my body type.

Third outfit with the Frame Borrowed jeans.

For this look I layered a cream jacket over a simple tee and finished it with woven flats. I love adding a light jacket to bring structure to white denim. It instantly makes the outfit feel intentional.

The denim quality is excellent. Soft, stretchy, and very comfortable.

But after trying them a few different ways, I realized the light wash and relaxed cut just aren’t the most flattering on me. They make me look a little shorter and heavier than I prefer.

These would work really well for someone taller, someone who likes a relaxed straight-leg fit, or anyone who wants a comfortable everyday jean with a softer feel.

Editing pieces that don’t flatter you, even if they’re beautiful, is a key step in building a Signature Wardrobe.

I paired them with a textured cream blouse and green statement heels for a softer, feminine look. The monochromatic palette keeps the outfit light and spring-ready while the shoes add a little personality.

The jeans themselves are beautifully made. They’re soft, comfortable, and have just the right amount of stretch.

For my body type though, the lighter wash and relaxed shape make me look a bit shorter and heavier than I like, so they won’t stay in my wardrobe.

If you’re tall, have longer legs, or prefer a relaxed straight jean that isn’t overly fitted, these would be a great option.
