It’s been so fun to take a walk down memory lane and remind myself of how far we’ve come on this house and my business. I’ve been able to really find my own personal style instead of going with the current trends and it’s been so fun and fulfilling. I get my fill of trying out new styles with clients and now don’t feel the need to be as broad in my own home. Of course, I’ll still always keep up with the trends in someway but I just love a classic look 🤍

It’s crazy the difference that paint and flooring make! It totally changed the whole look of this space. And can we please talk about the fact that so many Utah houses have a cut out for carpet in the living room??? I don’t understand it!! Rugs exist for a reason 🤣

After we redid the floors and painted all the walls, this was the very first room in our house that we finished. I learned so much about renovating and deciding where to save and where to splurge.

But when I look at this, all I can feel is proud! Proud that we just went for it, proud of how it turned out and proud of how far I’ve come from this first project!! 🥹

It’s a bitter sweet moment- we *basically* brought both our babies home to this house (Adeline was 2 months old when we bought it) but we are so grateful for the memories we made here and the ability to grow my design business from here.
