August favs 🤍: The Nike Air Max Muse has been my newest sneaker addition. At my big age, I prioritize comfort [but also blame a slight ankle sprain from Miami spring break ages ago]. I spotted them months ago during our trip to Chicago and finally grabbed a pair from my good girl ASOS. They feel like pillows on my feet. Cushioned and supportive without looking bulky. They work well for casual looks and are the pair I grab when I know I’ll be on my feet most of the day. They also add the perfect amount of razzle dazzle, which is my favorite thing.

August favs 🤍: One of the most helpful additions this month has been a walking pad with an incline that I keep under my standing desk. This little addition has made such a big difference in getting serious about my overall wellness. I’m able to easily get my steps in and the incline gives me more of a challenge. I love a subtle upgrade that fits seamlessly into my current routine.

August favs 🤍: for a little height, I’ve been into these pointed-heel mule sandals from Mango. I loveeee a cute kitten heel. These are about 3 inches so they may not technically be considered a kitten heel, but these are as high as I can go. They instantly dress up jeans and elevate even the simplest looks. And look at this beautiful color! Perfect for fall.

August favs 🤍: Contrary to popular belief, I don’t only wear sneakers. When I’m not, I’m immediately grabbing these black mesh flats with a gold buckle. I’ve been raving about them for months. Light, breathable, and chic. I absolutely love the gold buckle detail as it quickly elevates any look. If you do order them, go half a size down.

August favs 🤍: I’ve been living in easy pieces. If you don’t know by now, my motto is CCC: casual, comfy, and cute. One of the standouts in August was this dropped waist midi dress that I’ve had for months but recently wore on our Mexico City trip. This color. This silhouette. This texture!! Such a beautiful, easy throw-on piece that made me look amazing without much effort. It’s flowy and comfortable enough for long days walking around, but the pleats and cut make it versatile enough to take from day to night. Just add some flats, sneakers, or heels and go. I opted to add these cow print Adidas Sambas and a cropped denim jacket for the perfect day time look.

August favs 🤍: Fragrance this month has been all about Lattafa. I’ve been rotating between Yara, Khamrah, Gold Extrait, and Angham, and each one smells luxe without the price tag. They also last for hours. Yara is sweet and feminine, Khamrah is warm and spicy, Gold Extrait is bold and luxe, and Angham feels deeper and moody. They’re all under $50 (a great value), so I’ll be continuing to build on this collection.

August favs 🤍: I’ve become a full-on Nécessaire stan at this point. I first fell in love with their mandelic acid aluminum-free deodorant [I’m surprised by the chokehold it has on me as a girl who has long suffered through sweaty pits]. Then discovered The Body Oil.

I apply this after every shower, and my skin stays soft all day. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t compete with fragrance, so it’s perfect for layering. Plus, it gives a nice glow without feeling sticky. I keep it stocked for a reason.

August favs 🤍: To keep this glow protected, I wear sunscreen every single day. Yes, we need sunscreen too. The one I’ve been grabbing the most has been the Beekman 1802 Solar Milk Clear SPF 50. It has a velvety, gel-like texture, goes on completely clear, and doesn’t leave a weird residue. My favorite thing about it is that it blends in like a serum and works well under makeup too. It doesn’t leave me looking greasy which is a huge plus.
