I’m really trying to romanticize the little things this summer because these are the moments I know I’ll miss someday! Consider this your reminder to make an ordinary summer night feel special - and to try out something you’ve been wanting to do 🌞✨🍊 Tablecloth is @target, placemats are @betterhomesandgardens from @walmart, plates are from @samsclub! Soda is @cocacola of course, I love tying a bow around these glass bottles! I was sipping on @saintspritz and my glass is actually plastic, also from target! I grilled salmon and steak, plus I chopped up a zucchini & squash - seasoned with @kindersflavors & drizzled with @getgraza oil. I took mini potatoes, cut a few of those in half, drizzled with oil heavily and seasoned to put on skewers on the grill! Those were mouthwatering delicious!!! My cucumber and cantaloupe checkerboard was something else that’s been sitting on my Pinterest board. I know it was very simple, but I still loved the aesthetic - so that means I want to try out another one soon! For dessert, the lemon possets are very simple - mix 1/3 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup of sugar and some lemon zest. Heat that on medium for about five minutes, careful not to let it boil and bubble. Take it off the heat and add in a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice with a teaspoon of vanilla. Pour those into your hollowed out lemons and set in the fridge.
