aint NO LIE, PIE PIE PIE 🥧 we said BYE BYE to what we thought about THANKSGIVING and learned about the TRUTH 🥧we learned that it took 36 years before Thanksgiving was a National Holiday in the USA 🥧we learned that Abraham Lincoln was the President to agree to making Thanksgiving an official Holiday in the USA 🥧and we learned that we have the “Mother of Thanksgiving” herself Sarah Josepha Hale to THANK for that and we still use her recipes like PUMPKIN PIE 🥧 even today I love these Social Studies Units as it allows my firsties to make great connections but also know history.
