With age comes ouchies. A few weeks ago, I pulled a quad muscle with the combo of bowling and pickleball. Both fun, but the pulled quad was sore. I made the mistake of trying to work the pulled quad to help it by doing lots of stretches, squats, and workouts. Note: Don’t do that. 🤣 Finally went and saw a doc about two weeks ago and learned that was definitely not the way to go — rest was the better idea, along with ice, etc. I can walk on it just fine and the doc did the strain test and all okay there. Just a pulled muscle that needs time and for me to not try to work it out. 🤣 Today — now that it’s been two weeks, and it’s still sore but much less so, I started using this heating pad for 15 minutes to give it some warmth and help the muscle heal further.
