“I want to feel put together” this is one of the most common statements made by our clients when they come to Fifth Season to help curate their capsule wardrobe. And if like them you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the process of assembling a stylish, expensive-looking outfit, fear not, below are five tips to help you simplify the process. 1.) Keep it simple. The trick to making an outfit look and feel premium is to keep the clothes themselves simple. Elevated looking basics can form the basis for your best outfits, so it pays to get them right.  2.) Monochromatic moments. Dressing in one colour, top-to-toe is the easiest way to put together an outfit, the key here is to mix textures and hues to give the outfit interest. 3.) 2x2 = Smart/Casual. Take two pieces of formal wear, for example a blazer or tailored trousers, and pair them with two pieces of dressed-down casual wear, like a t-shirt or oversized knitwear. 4.) Does size matter? If you're between sizes, we would suggest sizing up —the slight slouch to your pieces will always look more deliberate and relaxed silhouettes often look more expensive. 5.) Balance An easy step in creating a well-rounded outfit is balance, adding accessories is a great way to elevate a simple look. Whether its statement bag or oversized earring, these item will subtly tie your entire look together. LTKeurope LTKstyletip LTKfindsunder100
