Trying to find a new home can be stressful and exciting! We shortlisted a few places and this was our first pick. Carmel outside Indianapolis won us over ❤️ we also wanted to make our trip fun and tried finding some cool places to eat (we love eating 😬). This gorgeous little cafe made our day. The cakes were honestly to die for! The decor was beyond stunning 🤩 I also found a perfect place to take my new dress out!

Date night for Jeremy’s birthday was such a blast.

We are finally venturing out to restaurants again. The best part is finally being able to bring out all my dresses, get out of my sweats, comb my hair and put on some semblance of make up 🤣

I love this Misa dress and I’m still not used to heels so a pair of sneakers will do this time (at least I’m not barefoot!)

After many months of convincing today Chloe finally wore her mask. We bought 10 different ones, with animals, with fruits, with butterflies and some random prints. Our daughter chooses the monochrome one 🤣🤷‍♀️ We will take it!

There was a bribe involved. I told her mask or else no park. So we started with the mask around her chin. Then she covered her mouth and then her nose as well. This all happened within the span of 45 min. We are so glad this finally worked out!

Date night after lockdown and the occasional venturing out calls for the ultimate dress up! It was a cold spring day in Chicago and I froze my a** off wearing this dress 🤣

At one point we were waiting to cross the street on our little walk up to the restaurant and I said ‘brrrrr’ which elicited a comment from the random stranger besides us - ‘that’s the price we pay for trying to be cute honey’ 🤣🤣 I whole heartedly agreed with her.

No one can describe a mothers love. My mom always tried to tell me what it was like and I always thought she was exaggerating until Chloe came into my life.

Half my mind, half my heart and half my soul is with her all day everyday. She drives me crazy at times, but nothing in the world can ever change how much I love her.

It’s so hard to even describe it in words. The hugs, kisses, smiles and yells for mommy bring about a feeling that’s so indescribable.

I love my daughter even when she is throwing the worlds largest tantrum. Believe it or not, she was yelling bloody murder in this picture, right in my ear but she was holding onto me so tight her screams faded in comparison to the hug. When I saw this picture it really captured how I feel , how much I love her and how I would do absolutely anything for her ❤️

Yesterday we had our family photoshoot or maybe I should say we tried to.

We had about a 50 minute drive to the location. Chloe seemed to be ok and not in a bad mood although I had a feeling she would be.

Once we got there and got to our location, we took a few pictures and she saw a slide. Right there it was done. She howled and screamed and yelled for the next 20 minutes. Our poor photographer, Abigail, tried her hardest. But that was it.

Then it started drizzling so we gave up and decided to reschedule our remaining time. The moment Abigail put her camera away, Chloe found a leaf she liked and just like that she was not howling anymore. We pretty much were like yup par for the course!

Abigail said the 2 year old photography session is where she gets paid in No’s, god how true that was!

Anyway, this picture was clicked after she calmed down, in the rain by Jeremy 🤣🤣

We can’t wait to see what Abigail managed to get in the hot second Chloe was not being a peach and we are excited for doing more photos with Abigail later.

Date night! It’s been a long time since we got to go out and we had so much fun ✨

Our Fourth of July was like none other. There were no fireworks and no bbq. But we took our little piglet to the park. And then grandma and grandpa watched her while Jeremy and I had one of the best dinners ever!

@thealineagroup designed a whole experience AIR and it was amazing 🎉 After 20 courses of eating and drinking its safe to say we had food coma 😬

I was also rather excited to finally wear my new dress and take my new hair out of the house.

Here’s my Valentine’s Day look. I don’t dress up as much as I used to, so when I do I go all out! 🤣

First up, I picked this comfy J.Crew sweater and sparkly necklace. It seemed like the perfect choice for my Valentine’s Day date with my hubby.

Next up, hair and makeup. I’m jumping for joy because I have finally found a curling iron that works for my hair. FINALLY! I have been looking for one for over 5 years! The T3 whirl trio, it’s easy to use and my curls last for days. All the curlers so far have been able to keep my hair curled for maybe an hour before it straightens out. So I’m excited! Like very excited! You should try it out.

For my make up I have a new favorite foundation. It’s lightweight and really feels like an extension of my skin, only smoothers and flawless, it’s the Dior Backstage foundation. It’s brilliant! For my lips I stuck to my old fave, my Gucci red gloss. I do like my new Ilia mascara as well.

All this for a lunch date! Yes lunch. I know I’m crazy, but hey I felt great! ❤️❤️ I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day too 😘
