💇🏼‍♀️ My hair has always been fine, and it’s so important to do everything I can to keep it healthy and growing.
💆🏼‍♀️ I love this so much more than my normal straightener because of its far-infrared light beam system. Basically, this allows heat to go deeper into the hair while retaining moisture and causing less damage.

Product spotlight ✨ #AmorePacificgiftedme their Vintage Single Extract Essence and honestly it’s one of the few essences I’ve actually seen make a difference in my skin.
🔎 my skin can get super blotchy and I found that with the green tea it drastically helped clear up my skin. For this reason alone I can see why it’s an @allure best of beauty winner.
🔎 It’s anti-aging and feels amazing on the skin - definitely refreshing + I’ve been religiously using it morning and night and still have barely made a dent in it.
🔎 full disclosure - this is absolutely a splurge item, one I definitely would not have been able to afford had they not gifted me. However, if you can swing it I definitely give it a 5/5.

Sometimes when you’re thrown off your equilibrium it can be so hard to get back. Life in general is a total balancing act and sometimes you have to make the decision to step back for a couple moments to get just breathe.

I took some time off from the blog because I got so sick the past few weeks and decided it was just the best thing for me. It’s hard to make the conscious decision to step away from something you love to do, to not go out, or to take time just for yourself. But I’ll always remind myself and maintain that I started this for me and to get creative, so I shouldn’t beat myself up for taking time to feel better and neither should any of you in your own lives!

I’m grateful to be back in creative spirits and start posting regularly again, thank you all for sticking with me during this tiny sabbatical! I have so many fun things planned for this month and can’t wait to share them with you! 💙

🚂 I’ve tried the liquid @maybelline superstar foundation and it is thiqqqq honey. It stays insanely well as do the superstay matte liquid lips, so I’m hoping this powder will as well (powder is BACK people)
🚂 People have been raving over the @lorealmakeup lumi line since its launch and with spring coming up I’m ready to break out this new bronzer, I got the light one since I’m so pale!
🚂 not gonna lie, I totally bought the @nyxcosmetics micro brow pencil because I can’t stop saving looks from @elizabethkayeturner and she made me do it

I have chronically dry hair and have struggled with severe damage + breakage since undergrad. My hair constantly needs moisture, making hair masks + oils my two best friends. Two cruelty-free products I’ve been reaching for constantly in my routine are the Rhythm of the Rain hair mask + Walk in the Sun luxury hair oil* from @voirhaircare at #uobeauty 💧🍊

✨ the hair mask smells straight up amazing but not overpowering and only takes about 5 mins in the shower. I use it as a conditioner replacement, but love putting it even on my scalp because even with the Shea butter + argan oil it’s not too oily which I love. I can feel a noticeable difference in my hair after rinsing it out, and love how easy it is to use.
✨ as for the hair oil, it has the faintest citrus + vanilla smell and feels like a dry oil. Made with rosehip, jojoba + sunflower oil it’s a thin oil that doesn’t feel goopy on your hands or hair and absorbs quickly.

Do you see what I see? 👀 Once I figured out how to use hydrocolloid patches (aka pimple patches) the right way, my approach to acne totally changed. I’m someone who, regrettably, can’t resist popping a zit and these clear little @herocosmetics patches virtually make my white heads disappear overnight.

These babies such out all the gunk and aren’t medicated, making them the perfect spot treatment, and they completely flatten and dry mine out. If I see a pimple popping up during the day and have an event at night I’ll even pop one of these on for a couple hours and it helps so much. Monster zits have met their match 💪🏻 What’re y’alls favorite acne products?

My favorite for holiday season - bold eyes. I’m alllll about the blue trend this season and love using emerald and sapphire jewel tones in my looks. Let me preface this post by saying I have never been a gloss person and still don’t really consider myself one 🍯 however, this @fentybeauty gloss bomb is one of the few I’ve fallen in love with + the drop of the new one in Fu$$y has me feeling some type of way (aka I need it now!)

Overall, I’ve been fairly impressed with Fenty and their products. Their foundation is legendary, the gloss feels and smells delicious, the matte lips are insanely pigmented, and (even though I’m a gold girl at heart) I couldn’t resist picking up the diamond bomb for the holiday season 💎 aka Fenty is making me rethink a lot! What’s y’alls favorite product from them? This is currently all I have!
