Hanging toiletry bag— fits full size products, elastic bands keep products upright, and keeps the counter clutter free 3. Baby carrier— trust me, it is physically exhausting to carry a baby through an entire travel day. You’ll have to take them out of the stroller at certain points like security and end of jet bridge. Traveling with kids must-haves (part 4 of 4): ENTERTAINMENT (BABY)

1. Snacks!!! Buys you so much time. Avoid things that crush easily into crumbs
2. Sensory books (soft ones with crinkle noise and different textures) + sticker books. With older babies, I’ll lift the sticker slightly and have them pull it off. Or put stickers all over them and they’ll pull it off and see how it transfers from their hands etc
3. Suction toys (squigz and spinner, but they only work if you have a window seat)
4. Binky clips to keep it off the floor (one on you and one on baby). Always want one easily accessible. Sucking helps with ears.

Novelty definitely helps— try to bring things they don’t play with every day

Traveling with kids must-haves (part 3 of 4): ENTERTAINMENT (TODDLER + KIDS)

1. Tablet + head phones— I like to avoid screens when I can but the goal is to make travel day as easy as possible… if the screen buys me some time (and peace) I use it.
2. Sticker activities— the Disney ones are great for kids a little older bc they’re time consuming. You pick your sticker, find the page it belongs, then match the sticker to its place, and read the excerpt.
3. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, BRING MARKERS 🤣
4. My kids love doing brain quest cards (keep in mind this is an activity you will read aloud together)

Nice to have— small blank notebook, water wow (mess free painting, but not that time consuming)

Traveling with kids must-haves (part 2 of 4): CARRY ON MVPs

1. Empty leakproof water bottle— buy a drink after security and pour it in. That way, the kids have easy access to drinks they can use independently without spills
2. Snack spinner— doubles as entertainment
3. Antibacterial wipes + hand sanitizer— keeps hands cleans and helps prevent getting sick
4. Toilet seat covers bc airport restrooms are gross (make sure it covers the front like this one, not just the seat)
5. Disposable placements (babies / toddlers can eat independently on a clean surface + easy clean up

Nice-to-have: changing pad (clips onto stroller), thin blanket to set baby down while waiting at the gate (like a swaddle blanket), packing cubes or containers to organize backpack for easy access.
