My inner child is way too excited for Toy Story 5 🧸🤠✨

The second I knew we were going, I pulled out my sewing machine. I turned my leftover Toy Story fabric scraps into patchwork overalls for me and paired them with a Toy Story dress I made for my daughter because a matching movie moment felt necessary.

We set up our backyard play area with one goal in mind—make it easy for the kids to stay outside longer and play more independently.

Our playground, mud kitchen, and little tables are all grouped together in one connected space so play naturally flows from one activity to the next. Instead of starting over somewhere new, they just shift into a new kind of play right where they are.

It’s been such a simple change, but it’s made a huge difference in how they use our outdoor space. More imagination, more time outside, and less interruption from me having to “set up” new activities.

There’s something so special about bringing a little Disney magic into everyday life at home.
