When I saw old navy was doing a collab with Anna Sui I was really excited and purchased a few things. Unfortunately the collection didn’t deliver in the way I thought it would. I probably will keep the denim dress because I have some fun ideas on how to style it and it’s very rare a non-stretch denim piece will fit both my top and bottom well. I just wanted to love these pieces, I and I didn’t. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

AFRM is quickly becoming my go to place to get dresses for events. They are unique, size inclusive and light weight. A mesh dress is a dream when you already are sweating from the compression. I tagged this exact dress and some other similar others in either the same print or that had very similar vibes.

I was gifted this dress, but I’ve been shopping AFRM for awhile (and actually just bought another dress yesterday) 🤭.

Procrastination but make it art. I wanted to practice posing to show off jewelry. This is obviously important work for the modeling career I’m never going to have.

Most of the makeup I used here was from Morphe. I was testing some their new products I had been gifted. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts.

Absolutely loved the lip filler matte lipstick, but the lipliner just did not stay for me. Look at pic two 😩.

The micro contour stick made doing contour on the nose much easier, but this is not something I do often with my makeup. That said, I loved the blush trios. I used them before for the orange cheek in my Taylor look and here I’m using the shade wine and dine. Of all the things I tried these were my absolute favorite and honestly will be using them again and again. Super great price point too.

I also tried the micro brow pencil. As someone with naturally white eyebrows, I just need a colored gel. A micro-pencil is nice for filling in but way too much work to do a whole brow with. Also I don’t care about perfect brows or makeup so I’m probably not the audience for this product.

Last but jot least I used the cloud light finishing powder. I’ve been looking for something that’s less in your face that a traditional highlight. This sets your makeup and leaves a subtle dewy glow. This is another product I will use regularly.

Absolutely obsessed with this outfit. I have always wanted a statement trench and now I’ve got one! I love the snake print because it’s wild like me, but still can be styled like a neutral. You’re going to be seeing this jacket in many more of my outfits this fall- especially when it cools down a bit!

Pro tip: you can belt over a trench for a more cinched waist look that still shows your dress underneath.

These size inclusive overalls are affordable, comfortable and light weight. Living in austin they give fall vibes without all the extra heat. The plus size sweater is also light weight and very comfortable.

I love making gift baskets, bag, and boxes. I just like putting cute stuff in other cute stuff. Making my friends baby shower gift was no accepting to this. Since we’re in Texas I did a cute western theme. I wanted to make a nice gift because when I went through my surgeries this friend checked in on me and never judged me when I was the cancel queen. That’s true friendship there. I know she’s going to be a great mama and I want to her to know I love and support her in that new adventure.

Some advice a friend gave me awhile ago is to buy clothing for a year in advance. New moms get lots of new born clothing, so intentionally buying 9-12 month sized clothing helps set mom up for the future.

Also, did I coordinate my outfit with the gift? Absolutely. Like I’ve always said, I love a good theme. 🤠

The number one question I get asked - Is wearing compression in the summer hot? The answer is YES, yes it is. It sucks, but I do it anyway because that's what's best for my body. Sometimes the best choices for us are not the most comfortable ones - and that's just life - but I know by wearing compression now I'm going to feel so much better later.
