The closest affordable dupe for Clinique Black Honey Everyone talks about ELF but I think this one is even more similar to the real black honey The texture is pretty much the same! I prefer the Cover Girl tinted lip balm over the ELF Sheer Slick Lipstick as a dupe ELF vs. Cover Girl I really think that ELF came out with the first close dupe to Clinique. They held that crown for years. BUT cover girl was like “hold my drink” I’ve got something even better. And can do a similar price point Both retail for $5 so take your pick I personally feel that the Cover girl is more balmyyyyy. Where as the elf is a slick lipstick but definitely dries down more over a period of time. I’ve been deep diving into black honey this fall/winter and had lots of great convos- one point to bring up is that black honey is more of a deep red vs. a jammy berry. I really think the Cover Girl Clean Fresh Tinted Lip balm line was inspired by Clinique Almost Lipstick! In years past Clinique had many shades they added to the Almost Lipstick line. Looking at the variety of shades in the Cover Girl Tinted lip balm… it’s hard not to draw connections! But obviously I’m super excited because the full line of Clinique Almost Lipstick is no longer available for purchase in the United States. Additionally, Cover Girl balm is only $5 vs. $24 for Clinique So I’m a fan and slowly collecting all the shades LTKBeauty
